Raspberry Chia Jam

Prep Time: 5 minutes. Cook Time: 20 minutes. Makes: 1 medium jar. 

Jam is so amazing, it’s one of those treats that goes with so many things and you can enjoy it for breakfast, lunch or even tea time! However although we all love it it can sometimes make us feel that we are not being healthy! Have you ever thought that jam is difficult to make? Do you know that there is a healthier version you can make and it cotains no sugar at all?! Well here it is our recipe for raspberry chia jam with no sugar…



-250g raspberries (you can use fresh or frozen)

-1tbsp of chia seeds

2 heaped tbsp honey (you could use golden syrup too if you wish but honey is healthier)



1) Start of by placing the raspberries and honey into a large saucepan and put over a medium heat. Cook for approximately 10 minutes until the raspberries are soft and and juices start to release.

2) Once the raspberries are soft mash the the raspberries and then add in the chia seeds.

3) Cook altogether over a medium heat for a further 12 minutes, making sure that you are stirring in between to avoid the jam sticking to the bottom.

4) Once it’s all cooked through evenly, take off the heat and allow to cool before placing in a jar of your choice.
