Christmas Eve Mulled Wine

Christmas Recipe Day 24…

Prep Time: 5 minutes. Cook Time: 15 minutes. Serves: 4

Christmas eve mulled wine is the best festive Christmas drink there is in our opinion! It’s warm, it’s comforting, the smell is just incredible and it makes Christmas complete. It wouldn’t feel like Christmas without it so we love to make this every year and maybe even a couple of time through the holiday season because it’s just amazing! So this Christmas eve make a batch of mulled wine and relax before the big day starts…

-1 bottle red wine- you can use any type you like.

-2 cinnamon sticks- extra for serving.

-6 cloves

-2tbsp honey

-1 orange- sliced for infusing the wine

-1 orange- cut into wedges for serving

-50ml brandy (optional)

1. Start of by putting everything into a large saucepan and placing over a medium heat.

2. Let the wine heat for at least 15 minutes but do not let it boil as you don’t want the alcohol to burn off.

3. Once the wine is ready, strain out the rest of the ingredients and serve with cinnamon sticks and orange wedges.

We hope this mulled wine gets you into the festive spirit and makes you feel all Christmassy.

From all of us here at All Things Baked we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May 2021 bring you the best of luck, health and happiness 🙂

It’s the most wine-derful time of the year 😉
